Frequently

Questions

How do you group my child?

We consider his/her age, experience and level played. We evaluate players on the first day of camp to ensure that they are in an appropriate group based on ability. We also consider requests to be with friends.

Base the decision on the age of your child at the time of the camp. Flexibility is given to children in the same grade as friends, who they may wish to be with and who can be grouped together even though they are born at different times of the year. Children who are 5 years old or younger cannot register for the full day camp.
All of the facilities we use for summer camp have an indoor building for back up shelter which we use in the event of heavy rain or thunder & lightning. If the rain is light we continue to play. For heavier rain we take shelter under trees, all summer camp locations are selected because they provide natural tree shelter for sun and rain. For heavy rain or storm conditions, we move indoors where the coaches will play fun, engaging activities with the players until it is safe to return to the field.

For summer camps it is:
4-5 yrs 1 coach: 6 Players
6-7 yrs 1 coach: 6 Players
8-17 yrs 1 coach: 8 Players

For summer camps, yes, we do our best to accommodate this request, taking into consideration the age and ability level of the players. Please indicate this request on your registration form.

For our soccer schools typically if you are registering your child in the same age group at the same location as their friend they will be in the same group.
No; while we do satisfy the players desire to play lots of soccer, we also vary the content and activity level at the camp. The program is well designed to ensure that players rest and play during skill activities and games. We also have activities with a soccer theme that are not always soccer games. Players get constant breaks, including morning, lunch and afternoon scheduled stoppages for snack and lunch.
Typically a maximum of 16 players per group and 12 players for the mini camp groups.
