Summer School (July-Aug)

A fun and rewarding skills program for children ages 4-5 yrs. Soccer skills training is built into a curriculum that teaches technical ability, agility, and balance. Children are introduced to soccer in a fun and rewarding manner, providing recognition for the young player. The clinic is a combination of skill learning and games. There is lots of ball contact for each player through ball movement practice, dodge games, and fun ball maneuvering exercises. Children are taught the basics of the game.

High Quality, ALL Girls clinics for players who have a desire to grow, develop and progress in the game of soccer. The clinics are based on improving players’ technical ability, while gaining key ball mastery skills, and touch on the ball. Players will gain new skills and techniques to help them improve their confidence and technical ability, while learning the basic tactical components of the game.
***If there are not enough girls to form a female only group, the girls registered will join the co-ed group.

A program geared to the 6-7 year stage of development. Children are instructed in core soccer skills and good soccer habits through age appropriate skill exercise and games. The program emphasizes coordination and movement in soccer, presented in skill exercises and small sided soccer games designed to make a positive impact on the development of the young player. Players are introduced to competition in a fun way and achieve success through skill training as well as game play.

The skill development program is designed for players to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. The purpose of the program is to maximize the individual's soccer potential, while recognizing that the players come from different soccer backgrounds and will vary in technique and ability. Coaches will evaluate the players consistently from the first session and will group players to challenge them by competing with players of similar abilities. Technique training of all the core soccer skills is emphasized. All Power Soccer programs use creative and challenging games to improve ball control, passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. The coach works on having the player improve all the fundamental ball skills while introducing tactical concepts of the game such as of space, support, movement off the ball and transition.

Our goalkeeper training programs are run by Power Soccer’s top-tier goalkeeper coaches. This program is designed for goalkeepers to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. The purpose of this program is to maximize the potential of each youth goalkeeper. Our goalkeeper coaches will focus on shot stopping, reaction saves, footwork agility, handling techniques, positioning, distribution, and diving.

The purpose of the program is to allow adults to participate in soccer skill exercises and game play in a recreational environment. The program is designed to be an enjoyable 90 minutes of soccer regardless of ability or experience level.
